Nursery/Reception Transition Workshop1.
May 12, 2011Transition to reception from nursery can be a very stressful time for children and their families. To help with this process, 8 children from nursery met together to share a workshop with Mrs Roden(Key Worker – Nursery) and Mrs Turner (Key Worker – Reception). Today’s theme was based upon the book “Once Upon A Picnic” by John Prater. The children made food for their own picnic and decorated a very special crown. At the end of the session each child took a goodie bag home to share with their families.

Next week’s workshop will be on Thursday 19th May. Hosted by Mrs Roden and Mrs Budd (Key Worker – Reception) The theme will be building and construction and goodie bag number 2 will be given to take home. See you there!!!
